Nine-year-old Noelle Kuyt, daughter of Dutch international footballer Dirk Kuyt, who joined Turkish football club Fenerbahce in 2012, is proud of her father.
“I scream when my father scores a goal,” says Noelle who talked to AA on her birthday.
The 32-year-old Dutch Kuyt, who signed a three-year contract with Fenerbahce in June last year, is a former Liverpool striker. Kuyt, who has scored 13 goals in 40 matches.
Noelle said that she usually follows the matches on TV, but sometimes goes to stadium as well to watch her father playing.
She said that Portuguese Raul Meireles, Brazilian Cristian Baroni and Senegalese Moussa Sow are other players she finds successful in Fenerbahce.
Noelle said Meireles’s daughter Lara, also her classmate from the United Kingdom, was a good friend of hers.
Noelle has three brothers, Roan (6), Jorden (5) and Aidan (2).
