KILIS
Aid materials which were loaded in trucks at the Kilis Oncupinar customs territory are being distributed to several places in Syria.
The relief aid which includes food and clothing was coordinated by Turkish charity fund Kimse Yok Mu and Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHH), and is being handed over to Syrians.
Charities also provide Syrian civil war victims, who try to hold onto life at the Turkey-Syria border, with warm food twice a day.
Fevzi Cakmak, an official from the Kimse Yok Mu, stated that they distributed more than 50 tons of flour to Syria weekly.
He added that one philanthropist from Gaziantep provided them with 5 tons of flour last week and said, "We expect more helps from everybody. The flour we sent to Syria meets the average weekly bread need of a person."
Syrian citizen Veysel Abdullah stated that they would never forget the sensibility of Turkish people, and stated that they saw Turkish nation as a "twin brother".
He said, "If they have an extra blanket at home, they give it to us. We need everything in Syria because Assad did not leave anything in one piece."
