SARAJEVO (AA) – April 19, 2012 - Nermin Niksic, the prime minister of the Federation Bosnia and Herzegovina, has said that he was impressed with the respect and interest Turkish government showed in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Speaking to AA on Thursday, Niksic said that he attended Eurasia Economy Summit in Turkey last week, adding that Turkish investors were interested in energy, tourism, iron facilities and especially highway constructions in Bosnia.
Niksic said that he held meetings with officials from Turkish-U.S. consortium Enka-Bechtel regarding the construction of highways in Bosnia during the summit, adding that Bosnia should make some changes in its laws for rapid construction of the highways.
Niksic also welcomed the statement of Turkish Airlines (THY) which denied claims that THY would end partnership with Bosnian Airlines.
He said that according to the partnership agreement, Bosnia had to pay two million euro to THY in return of two planes THY gave to Bosnian Airlines, adding that some part of this money was paid.
