Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay said that the countries that went through the Arab Spring considered Turkey's experiences as crucial.
Speaking at a panel discussion titled "Arab Spring, Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus Problem" at the Near East University in Lefkosa on Saturday, Atalay said that the Justice and Development (AK) Party term in Turkey influenced the Arab Spring.
The AK Party term was influential in the birth and beginning of the Arab Spring. At the same time, the AK Party term has been influential in the continuation of the Arab Spring process, Atalay noted.
