The Anadolu Agency is set to add Morocco bureau in its presence in the Middle East and Africa on Wednesday, shaping its centennial vision with the target of being one of the five leading news agencies in the world.
The opening of the Morocco office is part of the agency's efforts to further organizational structure in the Middle East and in Africa.
A delegation under the presidency of AA Board Chairman and Director General Kemal Ozturk inaugurated an office in Tunisia on Monday and will officially inaugurate the office in Morocco on Wednesday. Cabinet ministers from the Moroccan government will also attend the inauguration.
Leading political and media figures will attend the inauguration of the bureau, which has been operating since March and become one of the top news agencies in Morocco in a short time.
Regional Directorate of the Middle East and Africa with headquarters in Cairo in Egypt has been founded to provide news flow among Turkey and Middle East and Africa. The directorate has representatives as well as offices in many countries.
