ANKARA

Swiss footballer Denis Zakaria joined Juventus from Germany's Borussia Monchengladbach on Monday, the Serie A club announced.

"Explosive, dynamic and gifted with a highly-tuned tactical awareness, Denis is now preparing for the most stimulating and special of adventures, in the shirt of the Bianconeri," a statement said. "Welcome, Zak!"

The midfielder signed with the Italian club until June 2026.

Juventus said the transfer was agreed for €4.5 million (over $5 million) payable in three financial years, in addition to the solidarity contributions by FIFA regulations and additional costs for a total amount of €4.1 million ($4.6 million).

The 25-year-old scored 11 goals and made eight assists in his 125 appearances for the German club.
