Vettel, Stroll to continue with Aston Martin for 2022 F1 season
Aston Martin confirmed unchanged pairing of Sebastian Vettel, Lance Stroll for next year, Formula 1 says

Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll will remain with Aston Martin for the 2022 Formula 1 season.
"One of the few remaining pieces of the 2022 driver line-up jigsaw puzzle was put in place today, as Aston Martin confirmed an unchanged pairing of Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll for next year," Formula 1 said in a statement on Thursday.
A four-time F1 champion Vettel said he is looking forward to race with a new generation of cars in 2022.
The German driver won four consecutive world titles with Red Bull between 2010 and 2013.
The 34-year-old believes there will be “more exciting racing” with new changes, adding: "It will be a great opportunity for us at Aston Martin. I believe in the strength of our new growing team."
Canada’s Stroll, 22, reminded that the next season will be his sixth year in Formula as he is looking forward to remaining in the team with Vettel.
Vettel has 35 points and Stroll has collected 24 points on standings so far this year.
