ANKARA

Turkey’s Kerem Kamal eliminated Amiran Shavadze from Georgia on Tuesday to qualify for the European Wrestling Championships Greco-Roman final.

Following the 9-0 victory in the 60 kg semifinals, Kamal will face Armenia's Gevorg Gharibyan for a chance at gold Wednesday in Rome.

Italy hosts the 2020 European Championships, which concludes Feb. 16.
