Turkish equestrians sweep titles at Balkan show jumping in Serbia
Teams secure victories in 3 categories at championship in Belgrade

BELGRADE
Türkiye’s equestrian teams on Saturday captured top honors at the Balkan Show Jumping Championship in Serbia’s capital Belgrade, winning titles in three major categories.
The tournament brought together riders from 11 countries: Türkiye, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.
Representing the Turkish Equestrian Federation, 40 riders competed across categories, delivering standout performances.
Türkiye’s women’s team — Duru Ayan, Azra Ozturk, Hatice Busra Ipsirli and Sedef Etik — won the Women’s Riders Category.
The Young Adult Riders team of Derin Gunes, Melis Serbest, Gokalp Danaci and Ege Cevik also secured first place, while the Master Riders team of Omer Cetin, Burak Ulucay, Barkin Aydin and Necmi Eren triumphed in their category.
