Turkey's Anadolu Efes were defeated by Spanish opponent Barcelona Lassa 74-72 in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague playoff match on Friday. 

Hosting the Spanish team at Istanbul’s Sinan Erdem Dome, Anadolu Efes upset their fans over the critical loss against Barcelona in the quarterfinal playoffs as the playoff series tied 1-1.

Vasilice Micic was the top scorer of Anadolu Efes with 15 points while Thomas Heurtel from Barcelona racked up 12 points.

Following Friday's win, Barcelona have now the home court advantage in the playoffs as the upcoming game will be held in Spain.

The third game of this series will be played at Palau Blaugrana Arena on April 24.

The winners of the playoffs will advance to the Final Four phase to be played on May 17-19 at Fernando Buesa Arena in the Spanish city of Vitoria-Gasteiz in single-elimination matchups.
