Turkey's Vakifbank women volleyball club became the sport’s legend after becoming three-time world champions, the director general of Vakifbank
The Turkish club reigned supreme to retain the women’s volleyball title in the last two world championships.
Vakifbank was crowned the champion of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship in 2013, 2017 and 2018.
On Sunday, reigning world champion gained the gold medal in the 2018 championship in China.
Top clubs from each continent compete in FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.
Turkish clubs have triumphed over their opponents six times to gain the world title in the tournament over the last nine years.
Turkey topped this year’s FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship by winning 6 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals in the tournament.
Vakifbank ranks first in the world championships with 3 gold medals.
