Turkey bags bronze in women’s volleyball tournament
Turkish team beats Azerbaijan to claim 3rd place in 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship

Turkey finished third in the 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship on Sunday.
The Turkish female team defeated Azerbaijan 3 sets to 1 to win the bronze medal.
After losing the first set 22-25, Turkey went on to claim the next three, 25-21, 25-14 and 25-8.
Serbia later defeated the Netherlands 3 set to 1 to win the tournament.
Serbia won on the first two sets 25-20 and 25-22, then lost the third 18-25, but bounced back to claim the fourth 25-18.
The 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship was co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Georgia.
