ANKARA

Stefanos Tsitsipas completed a comeback win against world number two Rafael Nadal to book his place for the Australian Open semifinals on Wednesday.

World number five Tsitsipas from Greece eliminated his Spanish opponent after coming back from 0-2 down with the sets of 3-6, 2-6, 7-6, 6-4, 7-5 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.

The 22-year-old player will take on the fourth seed Daniil Medvedev from Russia in the semifinal clash on Friday.

Tsitsipas became the third tennis player to beat Rafael Nadal from two sets down as he moved to the Australian Open last four for the second time during his career.
