ANKARA (AA) - Jamaican sprinter Elaine Thompson-Herah won an Olympic gold in the Tokyo 2020 women's 200-meter on Tuesday.

Thompson-Herah, 29, ran the 200-meter final in 21.53 seconds to be the champion.

Namibia's Christine Mboma took silver with time of 21.81, while American Gabrielle Thomas earned bronze for finishing the final in 21.87 seconds.

Thompson-Herah made the double in the Tokyo 2020 as she previously won gold in women’s 100-meter on July 31.
