Roma, led by Tammy Abraham, toppled archrivals Lazio 3-0 to win an Italian Serie A derby clash on Sunday.

Roma's English forward Abraham scored a very early opener to shock Lazio in the first minute at Rome's Olimpico.

Abraham doubled the lead for Roma in the minute 22 as he was unmarked at the far post to make a close-range finish.

The Giallorossi made it 3-0 in the 40th minute as Roma's Italian captain Lorenzo Pellegrini fired from freekick to beat Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha.

Strakosha plunged but Pellegrini sent it to the top corner.

Jose Mourinho's men were rampant in the first half and secured the win in "Derby della Capitale" (Derby of the capital city).

Both Roma and Lazio fans flocked to the stadium.

Roma have 51 points in 30 matches to reach the fifth position in the Serie A rankings.

Lazio are in the sixth spot with 49 points.

The 2021-22 Serie A is currently led by AC Milan that collected 66 points.

Second-place Napoli have 63 points to chase Milan.
