The Houston Rockets' Turkish center Alperen Sengun avoided a major injury during Sunday's game, sports channel ESPN reported.

Sengun, who had to leave the court in a wheelchair after landing awkwardly while challenging a shot by the Kings' Domantas Sabonis during Sunday's game, was diagnosed with a severely sprained ankle and a bruised right knee, according to ESPN.

According to the report, the 21-year-old has not yet been ruled out for the season’s last month, but he will require considerable time to fully recover.

Sengun became the youngest player to total over 45+ points, 15+ rebounds, and 5+ steals in an NBA game last week.
