Real Madrid hammered Las Palmas 4-1 in the Spanish LaLiga week 20 match on Sunday.

After Las Palmas' Portuguese forward Fabio Silva opened the scoring in the first minute, French star Kylian Mbappe led the Whites to victory with two goals in the 18th and 36th minutes, as well as Moroccan winger Brahim Diaz's goal in the 33rd minute and Brazilian attacker Rodrygo's goal in the 57th, at Santiago Bernabeu.

Las Palmas' Spanish defender Benito Ramirez del Toro was sent off with a red card in the 64th minute after a video assistant referee (VAR) inspection.

Real Madrid's English star Jude Bellingham's fifth goal attempt was disallowed by a VAR decision in the 75th minute.

The hosts' Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde's screamer went in in the 87th minute, but VAR disallowed it as well due to an offside.

After former leaders Atletico Madrid's shocking 1-0 defeat against Leganes Saturday, Real Madrid took over the top spot with 46 points.
