Pelicans finalizing deal to acquire CJ McCollum from Blazers
Christian James McCollum averaging 20.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists in 36 games this season

ISTANBUL
The New Orleans Pelicans are working on a deal to acquire Christian James McCollum from the Portland Trail Blazers, an NBA insider confirmed Tuesday.
"The New Orleans Pelicans are finalizing a deal to acquire Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum for a package around Josh Hart and draft compensation," Shams Charania said on Twitter.
Charania said the deal includes Josh Hart, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Tomas Satoransky and draft compensation.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski said on Twitter: “There's optimism a deal will be completed -- perhaps as soon as today -- but there's still work to be done to reach an agreement."
McCollum has averaged 20.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 36 games this season. The 30-year-old guard won the 2015-16 NBA Most Improved Player Award.
