Nominees announced for best coach honor at FIBA EuroBasket 2025
Türkiye's Ergin Ataman is among candidates in FIBA voting for best coach of 2025 European Championship

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) on Thursday announced the names of the national team coaches shortlisted for Best Coach at FIBA EuroBasket 2025 awards.
"Success at FIBA EuroBasket 2025 isn't only written on the court, but also on the sidelines, where the game's brightest minds are leading their teams to glory," FIBA said in a statement.
It added that one would make history to become the first-ever winner of the Best Coach award, "a new honor that will be presented in a fully digital format after the tournament."
The eight coaches who guided their national teams to the quarterfinals, including Türkiye's Ergin Ataman, are among the candidates in FIBA's voting for the best coach of the 2025 event.
FIBA said fans can cast votes on FIFA.com for the inaugural award.
The nominees for the EuroBasket 2025 awards are as follows:

Aleksandar Dzikic - Georgia
Alan Ibrahimagic - Germany
Vassilis Spanoulis - Greece
Rimas Kurtinaitis - Lithuania
