ANKARA 

AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan was subjected to racist slurs Saturday from Udinese fans during an Italian Serie A match which ended with a 3-2 Milan victory.

The match was briefly suspended in the first half and Milan went to the locker room after racist chants against the French goalkeeper.

The match restarted after a short pause.

English midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek brought the lead to Milan in the 31st minute at Bluenergy Stadium.

Serbian midfielder Lazar Samardzic equalized in the 42nd minute before French forward Florian Thauvin made it 2-1 for Udinese in minute 62.

Serbian attacker Luka Jovic leveled the score in the 83rd minute but Swiss attacker Noah Okafor's late goal in the 93rd minute brought Milan the victory.

Several players in Italian Serie A have become targets of racist chants including Napoli's Victor Osimhen and Roma's Romelu Lukaku.
