Manchester City won 2020 Carabao Cup -- formerly known as the League Cup -- by defeating Aston Villa 2-1 in the final at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Manchester City took the double lead after Sergio Aguero and Rodri found the net.
Mbwana Samatta scored for Aston Villa before the half time ended but his effort could not avoid a loss for his team.
Manchester City lifted third consecutive Carabao Cup with a Spanish manager Pep Guardiola at the helm.
The Blues became the second club to clinch the victory in this tournament for three consecutive years. Previously, Liverpool won the title for four consecutive years in 1981-1984.
