Reds come from behind to rescue 1 point in Fulham, while Chelsea beat Everton 1-0
ISTANBUL
Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw on Saturday with newly-promoted side Fulham in their season opener.
Aleksandar Mitrovic scored the opener in a minute-32 goal at Fulham's home ground, Craven Cottage, with his team finishing the first half ahead.
Darwin Nunez leveled the game for the Reds in the 64th minute scoring a classy goal in the box.
But, Fulham retook the lead eight minutes later as Serbian forward Mitrovic scored for the second time from a penalty.
Liverpool found their second goal with Mohamed Salah in minute 80 before the match ended with a 2-2 draw in Fulham
Chelsea taste narrow win
In another Premier League clash, Chelsea narrowly beat Everton with a 1-0 score on the road.
Jorginho's penalty goal in first half stoppage time brought victory to the Blues at Goodison Park.
