Juventus secured a 4–1 win over Morocco’s Wydad at the Club World Cup on Sunday, powered by a standout performance from Turkish winger Kenan Yildiz.

The Group G match was played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, US, between the group leaders Juventus and Wydad, who lost their opening game 2-0 against Manchester City.

Juventus opened the scoring in the sixth minute when a shot by Yildiz deflected off Wydad’s Ayoub Boutouil and into the net. FIFA recorded it as an own goal.

Yildiz doubled the lead 10 minutes later with a clinical finish inside the box. Wydad pulled one back in the 25th minute through Thembinkosi Lorch to make it 2-1.

In the 69th minute, Yildiz struck again with a composed finish to restore Juventus' two-goal lead. Dusan Vlahovic sealed the win with a penalty in the 90th minute.

Yildiz, 19, was named Player of the Match after scoring twice and playing a key role in Juventus’ advancement to the next round.
