Jokic, Gilgeous-Alexander lead All-NBA 1st Team of season

ANKARA 

NBA on Wednesday named the 2023-24 season's first team as Most Valuable Player Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets), and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder) were "unanimously selected" to the group.

"Both players (Serbian center Jokic and Canadian guard Gilgeous-Alexander) received First Team votes on all 99 ballots from a global panel of sportswriters and broadcasters, with Jokic earning his fourth First Team selection and Gilgeous-Alexander his second," NBA confirmed on its website.


Dallas Mavericks' Slovenian guard Luka Doncic, Milwaukee Bucks' Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Boston Celtics' US forward Jayson Tatum have joined Jokic, and Gilgeous-Alexander on the Kia All-NBA 1st Team of the season.

Doncic has been selected for the NBA's first team for five years in a row, while Antetokounmpo had his sixth consecutive first-team selection.


In addition, Tatum was picked for the first-team honors for the third consecutive year.
