Hull City appoint Shota Arveladze new manager under Turkish ownership
Arveladze took charge of several clubs in Turkiye, Israel, Uzbekistan
ANKARA
Hull City appointed Shota Arveladze as their new manager following the club's takeover by Turkish media boss Acun Ilicali.
"Hull City are delighted to announce the appointment of Shota Arveladze as the club’s new head coach on a two-and-a-half-year deal," the English Championship League team said on Thursday.
Arveladze, 48, previously took charge of several clubs in Turkiye, Israel and Uzbekistan.

He replaced Grant McCann who was recently fired by the new ownership because of a series of poor results.
Hull City was acquired Jan. 19 by Ilicali. The team are ranked 19th in the English Championship League standings with 29 points in 27 matches.
