Norwegian football star Erling Haaland scored two goals as Manchester City beat Brighton and Hove Albion 3-1 in an English Premier League match on Saturday.

Haaland scored the opener in the 22nd minute in Manchester.

Man City goalkeeper Ederson sent a long ball from his penalty area that went over the Brighton defense.

Haaland controlled the ball, then skipped Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, and lastly beat Adam Webster in a shoulder-to-shoulder contact to score an open goal.

The Norwegian star doubled the gap after scoring from the penalty spot before the halftime break at the Etihad Stadium.

Belgian forward Leandro Trossard scored for Brighton in the 53rd minute to give hope to the visitors.

However, Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne curled the ball into the top corner in the 75th minute to name the result 3-1 for Man City.

Haaland has 17 goals in 11 Premier League matches, almost one-third of this season.

Defending champions Man City are in the second spot with 26 points.
