Girona continue chase for La Liga top spot after 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano
Goals by Tsygankov, Savio keep hosts in title race

ANKARA
Girona continued their push for the top spot in the Spanish La Liga after beating Rayo Vallecano 3-0 on Monday.
Ukrainian winger Viktor Tsygankov netted the first goal with a left footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom right corner in the 52nd minute at Montilivi Municipal Stadium.
Rayo's Spanish defender Pep Chavarria was sent off with a second yellow card in the 76th minute.
Brazilian midfielder Savio tallied the second goal with a left footed shot in the box in the 91st minute. Then just four minutes later, he netted another one with a shot to the bottom left corner of the goal.
Girona are second in the La Liga standings with 59 points, six points behind leaders Real Madrid.
