Galatasaray gets shocking 1-0 defeat against Giresunspor

Galatasaray suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat Saturday to Giresunspor.

The Lions lost its first home game of the 2022-23 football season in the Turkish Super Lig.

Borja Sainz scored the match’s only goal in the 77th minute at NEF Stadium.

Giresunspor won their third game in their last four matches against Galatasaray in the Super Lig.

Galatasaray dropped to the seventh spot in the standings with three points. Giresunspor is in sixth place with three points and a goal difference.
