French tennis player Caroline Garcia won the 2022 Western & Southern Open (Cincinnati Masters) title in women's singles Sunday in the US state of Ohio.
The world number 35 beat her 28th-ranked Czech opponent Petra Kvitova 6-2, 6-4 in the final.
Garcia bagged her 10th career title.
Although she is yet to win a Grand Slam, Garcia reached the quarterfinals in the 2017 French Open (Roland Garros), which is still her best among the four majors.
