Football: Valencia crush Rapid Wien in Europa League

ANKARA

 Spanish football club Valencia pounded Austrian team Rapid Wien 6-0 in the first leg of the Europa League last 32 late Thursday.

Santi Mina (twice), Daniel Parejo, Alvaro Negredo, Andre Gomes and Rodrigo scored for Valencia at Mestalla Stadium.

Meanwhile Danish team Midtjylland beat England's Manchester United 2-1 in Denmark.

Manchester United scored the first goal thanks to Memphis Depay. But Midtjylland's Pione Sisto and Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu scored the next two for the win.

The return matches will be played on Feb. 24 and 25.
