Football: Turkey to host Croatia in exhibition match

ISTANBUL

Turkey will host Croatia in Wednesday's friendly match before looking for wins in the Nations League.

The game will kick off at Istanbul's Vodafone Park at 8.45 p.m. local time (1745GMT) and Slavko Vincic from Slovenia will be the referee for the game.

Caykur Rizespor goalie Gokhan Akkan and Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Omur will not play this match due to their injury. Also, Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has been called for the national team.

Turkey will face Russia and Hungary in the Nations League on Nov. 15 and Nov. 18, respectively.
