Turkish football team Trabzonspor secured an away goal advantage in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round, earning a 2-2 draw Thursday against Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic.

Sparta Prague took the lead in the 16th minute when defender Costa Nhamoinesu found the net with a close range header at the Generali Arena.

The Czech club doubled the gap in the 68th minute as midfielder Guelor Kanga's long range shot beat Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.

But in the 84th minute, Trabzonspor forward Caleb Ekuban's volley went inside as the visitors narrowed the gap to one.

Trabzonspor made it 2-2 near the end of the match when another forward, Alexander Sorloth, scored the equalizer with a close range strike.

Following Thursday's draw, Trabzonspor returned home with an away goal advantage.

The second leg will be played on Aug. 15 on Trabzonspor's home court at Medical Park Stadium.
