Italian Serie A side Juventus is to start negotiations for Galatasaray’s Dutch star Wesley Sneijder.

Talking to Dutch newspaper "De Telegraaf", Sneijder's agent Guido Albers said that Juventus officials will meet Galatasaray’s board about the player’s possible transfer.

Albers stated that the 30-year-old attacking midfielder will totally focus on his duties at Galatasaray until his move to Juve is complete.

The Dutch press has written that Galatasaray are demanding a €20 million ($23.6 million) transfer fee.

Sneijder – a Dutch international – was purchased from Italian team Inter in January 2013 for €7.5 million ($8.8 million).

A Galatasaray fan favorite, Sneijder hit the peak of his career in 2010 when he helped his former team Inter win the UEFA Champions League.

During his two-year-spell at Galatasaray the former Real Madrid and Ajax midfielder won one Turkish Spor Toto Super League title in 2013. He also lifted the Turkish Super Cup in 2013 and the Ziraat Turkish Cup in 2014.

Sneijder's contract at Galatasaray will expire at the end of 2015-16 football season.
