Football: Derby fever in German Bundesliga
Borussia Dortmund meet archrivals Schalke 04 in "Ruhr derby" on Saturday
BERLIN
All eyes in Germany will be on the Borussia Dortmund - Schalke 04 derby this weekend.
Called the "Ruhr derby", the showdown between the two archrivals will be played on Borussia Dortmund's home turf, Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.
Polish right back Lukasz Piszczek will miss the match due to an ankle injury. But both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus, who have scored four goals in the last three games, are available to play.
Meanwhile, several Schalke players will miss the match due to injuries: German goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann, and his countrymen Julian Draxler and Leon Goretzka, Peruvian winger Jefferson Farfan, Bosnian left back Sead Kolasinac and Nigerian winger Chinedu Obasi.
Schalke 04 are in fourth place in the standings with 35 points, while Borussia Dortmund have 25 points and are 12th.
In the first half of this season, Schalke won the derby 2-1 in Gelsenkirchen.
The clash between Dortmund and Schalke will kick off at 15:30 CET (1430 GMT).
