ANKARA
German top football division Bundesliga's two rivals, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are set to settle accounts on Saturday in the league clash known as "Der Klassiker" (German Clasico) at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund.
Running at full gallop for the league title, leaders Bayern Munich having 64 points feel at ease before the match since Bavarians are 10 points ahead the runners-up Wolfsburg.
Meanwhile home team of Der Klassiker, Borussia Dortmund are having a turbulent season. Dortmund are in 10th place with 33 points as of matchday 26 in Bundesliga.
As Saturday’s game looms, Bayern Munich regulars, Dutch explosive winger Arjen Robben and Austrian left-back David Alaba are out due to injuries. Spanish defensive midfielder Javi Martinez is still injured as well.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund's Turkish central midfielder Nuri Sahin, German left-back Marcel Schmelzer and Polish right-back Lukasz Piszczek will be missing Der Klassiker owing to injury problems.
The match in Borussia Dortmund's home, Signal Iduna Park will kick off at 18:30 CET (1730 GMT).
Bayern Munich won the most recent stand-off 2-1 at Allianz Arena, Munich in November. Meanwhile Borussia Dortmund lastly toppled rivals Bayern Munich 2-0 at Signal Iduna Park in German Super Cup final in August.
Former Dortmund regulars German attacking midfielder Mario Gotze and Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who are now playing for Bayern Munich, are expected to be on the pitch at Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.
