Football: Besiktas star Quaresma banned for 5 matches
Disciplinary committee bans Portuguese winger for 5 matches for violent behavior during Turkish Cup match versus Fenerbahce

ISTANBUL
Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Disciplinary Committee banned Besiktas' Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma for five matches on Tuesday.
The TFF said in a statement that Quaresma has been banned for his violent behavior against his opponent after being sent off during the Turkish Cup match against city rivals Fenerbahce on March 1.
In addition, Quaresma has been fined 22,000 Turkish liras ($5,807).
Besiktas regular Quaresma scored four goals in 32 appearances this season. He also produced 11 assists for his team.
