BERLIN
German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich has signed Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk’s winger Douglas Costa.
According to a Wednesday statement from the German side, the 24-year-old Brazilian signed the deal to keep him at the Allianz Arena until June 30, 2020.
Shakhtar said Bayern paid them €30 million ($33.2 million) of a transfer fee to sign Costa.
The Brazilian international has been playing for Shakhtar since 2010. He scored 29 goals and produced 30 assists in 141 Ukrainian Premier League matches.
