Barcelona beat Real Madrid 4-0 in La Liga's El Clasico clash at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid late Saturday.

Barcelona's Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez opened the score in the 11th minute.

In the 39th minute, Brazilian forward Neymar doubled it to make it 2-0.

Midfielder Andres Iniesta made it three on a counter attack in the 53rd minute. Barcelona scored the fourth goal in the 74th minute when Suarez found the net a second time.

Near the end of the game, Real Madrid midfielder Isco was sent off.

During the match, Real Madrid fans called for the resignation of the team’s manager Rafael Benitez.

Barcelona now lead the Spanish league with 30 points while Real Madrid follow in second place with 24 points.

Barcelona's Argentine star Lionel Messi entered the game in the 56th minute after a two-month break. He had sustained a major injury on Sept. 26. 

Before the kick-off, Real Madrid and Barcelona players observed a minute of silence for the victims killed in the Paris attacks on Nov. 13. In addition, players from both teams wore black armbands.
