Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor miss chance to claim top spot in Turkish Super Lig
ANKARA
Aytemiz Alanyaspor remained at top spot of the standings after they drew goalless with Istanbul Basaksehir at home over the weekend.
Aytemiz Alanyaspor are still leaders of the Super Lig with 19 points in 10 matches despite failing to win last two matches.
Demir Grup Sivasspor maintain their flawless start after beating Yukatel Denizlispor 2-0 in an away match.
Sivasspor currently sit in the second place with 18 points.
BtcTurk Yeni Malatyaspor are in the third spot ahead of Fenerbahce with goal difference following Yellow Canaries' shocking loss in Kayseri.
Super Lig title contender Fenerbahce lost to Istikbal Mobilya Kayserispor with a 1-0 score in away match.
Kayserispor gained their first win in the league this season as they are at the bottom of the standings having seven points with a poor performance.
Reigning champions Galatasaray beat Caykur Rizespor 2-0 at home to stay close to the top spot with 16 points.
Another title contender, Besiktas, defeated Antalyaspor 2-1 to earn their first away victory this season.
Galatasaray are now in the seventh place while Besiktas sit in the eight spot in the table with 15 points.
Trabzonspor, another team with title desire, dropped 3 points to Goztepe as they were defeated 1-0.
