English striker Daniel Sturridge on Friday joined Australian football club, Perth Glory.
The club said that the 32-year old will be a part of the Perth Glory squad for the A-League 2021-22 season.
Sturridge has been a free agent since March 2020 after being banned from football for four months over breaching the English FA's betting regulations last year.
He last played for Turkey's Trabzonspor, netting seven goals in 16 matches.
Manchester City product Sturridge helped Chelsea bag the 2010 English Premier League title.
Additionally, he won two UEFA Champions League titles, 2012 with Chelsea and 2019 with Liverpool.
In addition to these clubs, Sturridge had loan spells with Bolton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion.
Sturridge scored eight goals in 26 international caps for his native England.
