ISTANBUL
Brazilian defender Marcos do Nascimento Teixeira, commonly known as Marcao, has transferred to Turkey's Galatasaray from Portugal's Chaves.
Both clubs agreed on the move, Galatasaray announced on Wednesday.
Marcao played 23 matches and scored 3 goals this season in Chaves.
Reigning champs Galatasaray are in fifth place with 29 points in the Turkish Super football league.
