ANKARA 

Borussia Dortmund's Belgian fullback Thomas Meunier has joined Trabzonspor, the Turkish Super Lig side said on Wednesday.  

The 32-year-old will stay with the Black Sea Storms until the end of the 2024-25 season.

Meunier will be paid a salary of $918,000 (€850,000) for the 2023-24 season and $1.62 million (€1.5 million) for the 2024-25 season, along with a $540,000 (€500,000) signing-on fee.

He bagged the 2021 German Cup with Dortmund, and also helped French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain to bag three straight French Ligue 1 titles between 2019 and 2021. 

Meunier netted eight goals in 62 appearances for Belgium, and also bagged a FIFA World Cup bronze for his nation in 2018.
