The Golden State Warriors equaled the NBA record of 72 wins in a regular season on Sunday with victory over the San Antonio Spurs.
The California-based basketball side will now seek to beat the Chicago Bulls’ 1995-96 record when they face the Memphis Grizzlies in California on Wednesday.
The 92-86 win over the Spurs also saw the Warriors become the first NBA side to win 34 times away from home in a season.
