Barcelona drew with Cadiz 1-1 on Sunday in a Spanish La Liga game.

Both sides found their goals with a penalty kick at Barcelona's Nou Camp stadium.

Lionel Messi scored the opener in the 32nd minute, whereas Cadiz's Alex Fernandez found the net at the near end of the game.

Barca are in third spot with 47 points while Cadiz stand 14th with 25 points.

Meanwhile, Argentine superstar Messi added another record to his collection as he beat the club legend Xavi Hernandez when he played in his 506th game for Barcelona.

"Make that 506 and top for Leo #Messi!" Barcelona said on Twitter.

The 33-year-old produced 655 goals and 286 assists in 761 matches for Barca.
