ANKARA 

Barcelona were eliminated from the Champions League and will now head to the Europa League after being hammered 3-0 Wednesday by Bayern Munich in the last match of UEFA Champions League Group E. 

The match started slow but Bayern struck first with Thomas Muller, who scored his 50th goal in the Champions League in the 34th minute at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Before the end of the first half, Leroy Sane made it 2-0 for the Munich team in the 43rd minute.

Bayern didn't slow down in the second half as Jamal Musiala scored the third goal for the Bavarians in the 32nd minute and the match ended 3-0.

Bayern Munich won all its matches in Group E and finished the group stage at the top of the table with 18 points.

Barcelona finished the group in third spot with 7 points.
