Barcelona Basket confirmed Tuesday that Dario Brizuela is sidelined for approximately two and three weeks after a muscle injury.
"The tests carried out have confirmed that the player Dario Brizuela suffered a psoas muscle injury (lower back) during the match against Baxi Manresa last Sunday," Barca said in a statement.
Brizuela, 30, had to leave Sunday's Liga ACB (Spanish top-tier league) match against Manresa prematurely due to a muscle injury.
Spanish guard averaged 6.3 points, 1.8 assists, and 3.9 rebounds in 11 EuroLeague games this season.
