Ethan Nwaneri suffered a muscular injury and will be out "for a few weeks," Arsenal confirmed on Monday.

"Unfortunately he has picked up an injury and is going to be out for a few weeks. It's a muscular injury," Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said in a news conference.

Nwaneri was sidelined due to an injury sustained in Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion, making a significant impact despite his young age.

The 17-year-old midfielder debuted at 15 years and 181 days to become the youngest player in Premier League history during Arsenal's game against Brentford in 2022.
