ANKARA

17th Runtalya Marathon is set to be held in the southern Turkish city of Antalya on Sunday.

The marathon, which includes 3-day-long sporting festival along with entertainment, consists of four events; handicapped, marathon, half marathon and 10km team run.

Maldivian Mohamed Rasheed won the 16th Runtalya Marathon in 2021.

Olympic gold winner in 5,000 meters at Sydney 2000, Romanian Gabriela Szabo, will be the honorary guest at the event.

The Runtalya International Antalya Marathon is being organized every year in the resort city since 2006.
