At least one person was killed and 10 others injured in Thursday’s missile attack in Ukraine's capital Kyiv, local sources told Anadolu Agency on Friday.

Two missile strikes were reported in the city’s Shevchenkivskyi district, with one of them hitting a factory and the other a residential building.

It was stated that four of the injured were taken to the hospital.

Anton Gerashchenko, the adviser to the internal affairs minister, announced on Thursday that the places in question were hit by Russian missiles launched from the Black Sea, and six people were injured in the incident.

The attack came on the day when UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres visited to the Ukrainian towns of Borodyanka, Bucha and Irpin.
