Protestors in the Egyptian city of Suez on Saturday set on fire the Police Department of Suez and a building of the Civil Defense Agency on the second anniversary of the January 25 Revolution in Egypt.
While Egyptian officials have not made any comments on the incidents yet, a military source told the Anadolu Agency (AA) that they were very close to declaring a curfew in Suez.
According to the Egyptian Health Ministry, at least 10 people were killed and more than 500 others injured in clashes between security forces and protestors on Saturday.
-Egyptian National Security Council makes a call for dialogue
Meanwhile, Egypt's National Security Council made a call on all political parties to hold dialogue in order to overcome disagreements.
The council's comments came at the end of a meeting chaired by the Egyptian President Muhammad Mursi on Saturday.
The Egyptian National Security Council condemned the violent incidents in Egypt and made a call on Egyptians to hold peaceful demonstrations.
